Review: Belo Baby Talc-Free Powder

We live in a tropical humid climate that has basically two types of weather conditions: hot or hotter. As a child, I remember being soaked in baby cologne and dusted in baby powder to keep me fresh and dry. But it’s been recently noted that talc, the leading ingredient in almost all powders, is linked to cancer and a variety of lung ailments. Not one to take the chance, I banned all powders from our home.

I was recently invited to try Belo Baby Talc-Free Powder to see if this safe alternative could do the job of keeping my family feeling fresh longer. I’m happy to report that this nifty little powder with its own puff does precisely what it sets out to do.

Made from certified natural rice and maize and carefully formulated without any harsh chemicals, this lightly scented hypo-allergenic powder spreads easily without any dust particles and really keeps skin feeling cool and refreshed. I also love how it doesn’t leave a white residue.

Fin and Nara now enjoy using it on their backs before play time and even my husband Carl is preferring to use it on his feet instead of his usual foot powder with talc.

In case you need anymore convincing, here’s this adorable video with Scarlet Snow Belo showing us how to keep cool in our hot weather:
