A Pinoy artist in New York

Every so often, my flatmate Pete shows me the amazing work done by his cousin, Pinoy artist, Raymond Halili

His pieces are often as small as a postage stamp and yet there is such a depth to them that they make my heart sing.

This is his latest series. Tiny watercolour paintings of his wife’s eyes done on vintage ivory.

Raymond currently lives in New York and is represented by the prestigious Nancy Hoffman Gallery.
