I was recently invited to the advanced screening of Metro Manila, a locally produced & shot film directed by British director Sean Ellis.
Without going into too much detail, I’m going to highly recommend you watch it. It’s a beautifully told story that focuses on one man’s fighting spirit; a slow burn with a massive pay off at the end.
If you won’t take my word for it, just ask the folks at Sundance where it recently won the World Cinema Dramatic Audience Award.
