Two months ago, Kamera World told me they had destroyed the roll of slide film this shot came from. My heart ached for a few days thinking that some of the images I had taken were gone forever.

Then I just had to breathe in and let it go. 

When I got back to Sydney, I decided it was worth the risk and paid a film developer here to give it a try. He was able to scan the film onto a CD without losing any sleep over it. Phew.
