In case you haven’t discovered this by now, I’m a HUGE fan of So True Naturals 100% Castile Soaps. They’re the only local brand I know that uses 100% olive oil in their bath products. I love them so much that I did a photo essay on the process here a few years ago.
I have to be honest that Castile soaps aren’t for everyone. They don’t lather as much as your usual bar and have a tendency to get mushy if not placed on a very good soap dish.
So you can imagine how excited I was to try So True’s latest product: a liquid version.
Made with the finest olive oil, this soap is so gentle that it can be used on baby skin. In fact, I switched my son from a pricey French brand to the unscented version for his rather sensitive skin and it really works just as well.
Each bottle costs 440PHP and comes in a variety of scents:
- lavender
- peppermint
- pomegranate
- verbena
- unscented (best for newborns and toddlers)
I highly recommend giving this liquid soap a try if:
- you want a soap that’s not drying
- you or your children have sensitive skin
- you believe in local products that use only the finest ingredients
- you’re looking for something affordable yet effective.
