It’s easy to have a love/ hate relationship with LA.
I mean, what’s not to adore about its weather, fusion food (sushi nachos, anyone?), and Venice Beach weirdos? But it gets a little harder to want to stay when you’ve got to deal with crazy traffic and flashy people on a daily basis.
Accompanying The Tunnel team on this trip taught me how different LA can look when you have a purpose behind your visit. I promise to try to elaborate more about that in a later post. But till then, I’d like to share a few snaps from an afternoon in Hollywood.
We started at an LA staple for lunch: Pink’s
The Martha Stewart Dog: sour cream, crispy bacon, tomatoes, sauerkraut. Too much of a good thing actually.
Mann’s Chinese Theatre. Where The Tunnel had its US premier.
My man following in the footsteps of Gregory Peck (hopefully as Atticus). Le sigh*
His and hers: I love how Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward did their prints together.
It’s not easy to get a shot of MJ’s star with flocks of tourists hovering over it.
Couldn’t resist taking her picture while waiting to cross the street. Such gorgeous blue eyes.
A Hollywood institution now often seen in many Entourage scenes.
Will post more about our trip. I promise!
