A few months ago, I was invited by SM Home to attend the opening of John Lewis Home in SM Makati. For those curious, John Lewis is a much-loved British department store chain, which has been around since the mid 1800s. Yes, they are that old. John Lewis’ partnership with SM Home is only their second international collaboration in all their many years of operation, so count yourselves very lucky, Manila.

I was at the launch with bloggers Patty, Rica, and Kelly (with Patty and Kelly still expecting their beautiful boys then). During the opening, we were pleasantly surprised by everything we spotted during our walk through of John Lewis’ Home collection. Beautiful rugs, throw pillows, and beddings fit for a queen (fact: they supply many of the royal families household accessories), but thankfully in a price range we can afford.

And because I like sharing even more good news, I’m happy to report that selected John Lewis items are currently on sale. Yep, their cheerful spring/summer collection is currently ready to make its way into your home with up to 50% off on selected items till September 30.

This sale is being done to make way for JL’s Autumn/Winter collection, which is arriving in October and promises to offer more muted color palettes of grays, blues, and creams that still feel cozy and ideal for the ‘ber’ months. Here is a picture of what you can expect.

I definitely recommend taking the time to check what SM Home and John Lewis have available. They have such a wide assortment of home accessories at such good deals that you’re bound to find what you were looking for and a few other beautiful items from many other quality brands along the way. My husband and I certainly have big plans of heading back once our house is finished. Perhaps we’ll see you there.
