One rainy day a few weeks ago, awesome Sydney food blogger Trish stopped by our place and immediately raided the kitchen.
“Any chance you have some self-raising flour, butter, and milk?” she asked sweetly.
After telling her we had all three ingredients she smiled, turned around, and proceeded to make these babies.
Perfect buttery scones.
Eaten fresh from the oven with some organic strawberry preserve (a gift from James and Laurentine) and a dollop of cream. This was perfect for the rainy weather.
What amazed me is that these little shortbreads of love only required three things and were ready to pop in our mouths in less than 30 minutes.
If you’re interested in trying to make some for your rainy mornings, I’m going to send you over to Trish’s site where she’ll guide you through step by step instructions. Click here.
Let her know I sent you. Enjoy!
