This has to be the most poignant and heartfelt children’s book my son currently has in his small library.
Funnily enough, it was given to me by my good friend Gutsy long before having Fin was a glimmer of an idea. With so few words and an array of sigh-inducing drawings, Jeffers is able to weave a moving story about the journey of a little girl’s heart and how she was able to find it again.
If there’s one book you need to give a girlfriend who has been through hard times and back with you, it’s this one. It’ll make for a lovely book in her child’s collection in the future, trust me.
