I’ve known Patty Laurel for over 10 years and in the span of this decade we’ve seen each other through quite a few transformations: I’ve been a guest on her morning show Breakfast, participated as a poi instructor for her kindergarten class, we’ve ran through Manila during an Amazing-Race-type adventure for a whole weekend, gotten married to two amazing guys (who like to geek about cameras when they’re together), and these days we see each other regularly as lifestyle bloggers.

If you’ve ever had the privilege of meeting Patty, you will know after just five minutes of talking to her that she is as genuine as it gets. Her public persona isn’t any different from who she is to her family and dear friends. If I had to describe Patty it would be bubbly, hilarious, and extremely generous with her blessings.

Patty has been making quite a name for herself these days as one of the country’s top lifestyle bloggers. She writes about her experiences of travelling around the world, her blessed marriage, local brands that are creating high quality items, and dainty fashion trends. Last week, Patty hosted a morning of delicious food, shopping, and an abundance of surprises to celebrate her blog’s new look. Here are some snaps from our morning together taken by the talented Zeus Martinez.

Shine Bakery offered us a menu of delicious comfort food like grilled cheese sandwiches paired with this creamy tomato soup.

Loved catching up with Mari Henud who is one of my favorite people. You’ll be seeing quite a bit of her on this blog in the coming weeks.

Patty’s mom joined us. Now we know where Patty gets her good looks.

Patty raffled off an bunch of wonderful giveaways. Iya Villania‘s face says it all for how we felt.

Similar to Spring Fling a few months ago, it felt like we were part of  one of Oprah’s Favorite Things episodes. I’m pretty sure Nikki Gil agrees.

Martine de Luna (an amazing blog consultant), Paula Peralejo, and I won these hand held mixers from Oster. I have big plans for this little guy.

After the raffle, we were taken on a shopping trip around SM Aura to some of Patty’s favorite stores.

We stopped by Suite Blanco and were treated to gift certificates that allowed us to purchase anything from the store. Too much fun.
