We saw this fruit while we were in Caliraya last weekend. Anyone know what it is? And more importantly, is it edible?
Caliraya, May 9, 2010
Hi! My dad says it’s called “palali” in ilocano. It’s a sour fruit that they loved to dip in bagoong. So, yes, it’s edible. I did a bit of reasearch and learned that its more commonly known as catmon fruit. 🙂 love your blog!!
Wow! Thank you for the research! Next time I see it, I’ll have to give it a try. 🙂
