I am constantly on a quest for the perfect lip and cheek tint. The kind that offers just the right amount of flush and lasts throughout most of the day. Not an easy request and many brands I’ve tried have fallen short. I got curious about this little brand called Julia’s Lip Tint when I heard it mentioned in a few beauty blogs I read (like this one).
The lovely people behind this brand were so easy to contact and helped me find just the shade I was looking for (Caribbean Rose) They were also sweet enough to send over some samples of their other colors. A big thank you to my beautiful friend Tina for being my lip model. It wasn’t an easy task to constantly change lip colors, this stuff really stays on!
Coralesque: A pretty mix of coral and pink
Mandarin Orange Red: Orange red with warm undertones
Truly Yours Red: Very red with cool undertones
Terracotta: Brick red with a hint of brown
Caribbean Rose: Soft and rosy with warm hues
All these colors are well pigmented and equally lovely on the cheeks. It doesn’t stay on your lips too well after eating and it’s much better to not put any balm on your lips before applying the tint. I also get a little worried about the product spilling in my bag, so I place it in a tiny zip-lock bag before taking it on my travels.
