My mom has been a huge fan of this brand for quite a number of years already. I remember her desperately looking for a stockist while visiting me in Sydney a few years back. She swears that it helps keep the redness from her rosacea away. She loves their BB Cream and Magic Mitt.
The brand’s Starter Kit which is what I was offered to road test, is the perfect way to get to know what the brand can offer.
Here’s what’s in the kit (as described on their site):
Smooth Affair: a luminizing primer that nourishes and prepares your skin: it brightens and moisturizes while makeup goes on more easily and lasts longer.
Multi-tasking Amazing Base (loose powder) and PurePressed Base (compact): both have earned The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Seal of Recommendation, each provide four important functions in one: foundation, concealer, sunscreen and active skin care benefits. They come in numerous shades that flatter almost all skin tones.
Pommist: Hydrates, conditions and protects your skin. Use it to set your base and plump the skin.
How to use the kit:
1. Start with Smooth Affair and apply it evenly to face and neck using clean fingertips.
2. Apply Pure-Pressed Base by swirling the brush gently on the compact and in downward strokes apply it to your face and neck till you get the coverage desired.
3. Apply Amazing Base by lightly dipping the included brush into the powder and apply in downward strokes till the powder is absorbed by the skin.
4. Finish with a light spritz of Pommist for a dewy “your skin but better look” that will last the whole day.
