Happy Monday, everyone! This week gave me quite a few interesting situations that I won’t go into detail about but left me shaking my head and wondering if there are PR etiquette schools available in the country.
As you’ve probably guessed, managing a blog invites all sorts of people to contact you. They often want to ask you to help promote their brands/products or just feel they need to let you know what they think about your topics and writing. I really do enjoy hearing from my readers and the invites I receive to learn more about brands are often very warm and undemanding. But once in a while, someone sends in an email with a rude request or with topics that clearly show they know nothing about me or my site. I guess it’s all part of the playing field and other bloggers I look up to have told me that this just means your posts are casting a wider net. I just wish I could throw those fish in another part of the ocean. Haha. I hope you don’t mind that I had to get this off my chest.
