Happy Monday, everyone. Have you decided what your week is going to be like?
This photo was taken during our trip to Cebu last month for a magical wedding. It was the last time that we got to relax by the beach, so I’m really looking forward to our break in a few weeks.
In other news, I got asked a rather interesting question by a student the other day. She asked, “Is the truth (reality) a prerequisite for happiness?” So I grabbed a strong cup of coffee and shared what I thought. Great insights, Tara. I agree that we have the power to choose what aspects of life we want to highlight: the good or the bad, So in a sense, we have a chance to choose our reality.
I don’t believe in one fixed truth. To borrow the words of Randy Bustamante, we invent our truths everyday. I hope this made sense.

Ahhh Cebu. Ijust blogged about our Cebu trip as well last night, and it made me miss it so much. So much more because we spent it with wonderful people. MIss you guys!
To answer your student’s question, my personal opinion is I think it’s important to know the truth. We deserve to know the truth, we owe it to ourselves to know the truth but it is also up to us how we handle it, how we approach it and what we do with it.
