Hi, everyone! I know I haven’t done one of these in a while. But between work, parenting duties, and a bit of travel (which I’ll let you in on in another entry), writing my usual happy Monday posts definitely took a back seat.

I hope you all have been well and doing your parts in one way or another to reach out and help our fellow countrymen. It’s rather hard to believe that December is already here. And as we all know, Christmas is going to be different for quite a few people this year, so please take the time to find out how you can help make a difference in someone’s life this season.

The photo on top was shot during our recent trip to Australia to attend a wedding a week ago. It was hard to leave Fin for a week, but from the numerous photos we received from my parents documenting his every move, it looks like it was definitely harder on us than him.

Traveling to my favorite city on earth with Carl was great. But after six days away, all we wanted was to have Fin back in our arms. Being with my family (in-laws included), Carl and Fin are the only gifts I need this year.
