 At the age of 27, I found myself single with no desire to date just for the hell of it.

Instead, I decided to write a list that stated everything I wanted in a life partner. From small things like, “must love dogs” to bigger things like, “has a close family” and “treats people who work for him with kindness.” I won’t lie, it was a long list.

But I believe that when you put a certain energy out into the universe, it hears you and answers back. And its reply came in the form of the next guy who asked me out on a date.
