Last week, a few friends and I were invited to Calyxta‘s Color Me Gorgeous event at the very cute Early Night? in BGC. Calyxta.com is my favorite online store and magazine for all things beauty related! I’ve been a proud supporter of this site since its lovely beginnings a few years ago!
The star of the event was none other than master makeup artist (and super hottie) Jigs Mayuga who did a number of makeup looks showcasing his beauty look predictions for Fall/Winter 2017.

Just Kissed Lips: A darker shade in the middle blended with a lighter shade on the sides. Jigs recommends using your fingers to perfectly blend everything together.

Reinvented Smokey Eye: This one would look beautiful on chinita eyes. A winged smokey that actually isn’t too scary. Jigs says the secret is symmetry and proper blending.

Straight Brows: Brows are all the rage these days. Jigs says the secret to feathering your brows is using a spool brush. He also prefers a rounded end rather than a square on in your thicker side.

Pop of Color: Jigs says he loves how he’s seeing more ladies play with color on their eyes rather than the standard browns or grays. He showed us how to do an ombre gradiant on the eyes. I have to also add that Jigs only did one eyelid (the right one) while a student did the other side. You can tell a master’s hand a mile away.
