Time is a funny thing. Have you ever looked back at a picture of yourself and remembered that during the time the image was taken you thought you looked old and haggard, only to realize when you see it now, how fresh you actually were then? Take for instance this picture of me from Sydney seven years ago:

Look the healthy fullness on my cheeks, the less visible lines on my forehead. Man, I miss those days.

At 36, I’ve really started to take investing in my skin more seriously and I’m really happy I accepted the invitation to try the L’Oreal Revitalift Laser X3 Line. I’ve really seen a difference in my skin by using this regimen for four weeks. In case you’re interested in doing the same and need help deciding which products to use from the line, here are my thoughts below:

TONE: It’s always good to start your regimen with toner after cleansing your face thoroughly. L’Oreal’s Revitalift Laser X3 Power Water is a great way to put balance back into the skin without making it feel heavy. It also enhances the penetration of all the other products to follow. I would recommend this product if you have oily skin and prefer a lighter moisturizer throughout the day.

TREAT: One of the first signs of aging can be seen around your eye area where fine lines and crinkles start to show. The skin around the eyes also has the tendency to look dryer. An eye cream like the Revitalift Laser X3 Eye Cream is the perfect product to use to keep this area well hydrated and even. I would recommend this product if you’re looking for an eye cream that you can use day and night and also works as an excellent primer for your concealer.

And if you want the honest truth, this is my favorite product in the line and one I don’t think I will ever part with. A big plus to the metal applicator that makes putting the product feel cool and clean.

The Revitalift Laser X3 Serum is another action packed product filled to the brim with all the ingredients to help fine lines vanish, minimize pores, and improve skn texture. I would recommend this product if you have oily skin like me. This is a good alternative the to the night cream and does the job just as well.

MOISTURIZE: L’Oreal’s Revitalift X3 Day & Night Cream are a perfect marriage of moisture and age defying ingredients. I love how the night cream acts like a mask infusing your skin with all the active ingredients while you get much needed rest while the day cream is it’s perfect compliment which feels like satin and helps you say goodbye to crow’s feet for longer. I would recommend these two products if you skin is on the dryer side. Your skin is guaranteed to be quenched with these two.

All in all, I’ve been thrilled with my experience with the L’Oreal Revitalift Laster X3 line. I plan to continue using the Power Water, Serum, and Eye Cream religiously as part of my regimen. I hope you take the leap and start preventing ageing earlier with these products too.
