Last week, I began using L’Oreal Revitalift’s Laser X3 Day and Night Cream, I’m happy to report that my skin has definitely been feeling so much softer and more even-toned since beginning this day and night cream combination. In case you missed this review, you can read it here.

But if there’s one area on my face that clearly shows how long I’ve been on this planet (36 years), it’s actually the crinkle of lines that come up around my eyes when I smile or laugh. It’s entirely normal to have these lines, in fact, my husband promised that all the laughs I would have through our many years together would be etched there. But, we don’t have to suffer through dry, crinkly-like skin, or dark under eyes as well.

I used to scoff at the idea of eye cream and though it was just another marketing ploy to get people to buy more products. But a number of dermatolgists have confirmed to me that the skin around our eyes is actually more sensitive than the skin on the rest of our face. It is thinner and has less pores to provide it with moisture which is why it rarely breaks out (yay!) but it also shows the veins under more often giving you that tired, racoon look (boo!).

I was offered a chance to try L’Oreal’s Revitalift Laser X3 Eye Cream to help prevent ageing around my eyes here are my thoughts:

I love how this products has barely any fragrance, making it perfect for sensitive skin. The cooling metal applicator also helps you keep the product and sensitive eye area free from dirt and excessive pressure from heavy fingers. Honestly, this applicator gives my skin a jolt when I first place it. I’m not kidding. I also like how this eye cream is extremely moisturizing without being greasy. This eye cream can be applied both day and night and actually works like a primer too.

After using this product for a few days, I noticed how my eye area was less puffy and smoother when I would wake up in the morning. I also found that my underye concealer went on a smoother after placing this a few minutes before and it prevented my concealer from flaking or looking cakey. This is definitely a keeper in my beauty arsenal. Consider me an eye cream convert! I’m looking forward to seeing what the results I’ll see through longer use!
