Lace x Rue is a small Cebuano beauty brand created by my talented friend Krista Pages. Blending her love of spa treatments and anything made by hand, Krista has created an assortment of premium quality scrubs and sprays that are guaranteed to be permanent fixtures in your bathroom cabinet. Here is her current line up of products and their descriptions.
Sugar Body Scrub (300ml P500) The sugar body scrub is put together with lovely things such as honey, lavender essential oil, and sweet almond oil to nourish your skin. Krista suggests rubbing the scrub towards the direction of your heart to improve circulation and improve lympathic system drainage in your body. I personally LOVE this scrub so much. It’s truly one of the best I’ve tried. It goes on like a dream and makes my skin feel baby soft the whole day.
Lip Buff in Spicy Chocolate and Mint Chocolate (100ml P295) These little jars are packed with exciting ingredients like brown sugar, ginger essential oil, cayenne pepper, cocoa powder and cinnamon. The sugar not only removes dry skin but the heat from the cayenne pepper will give lips a plumping effect. The Mint chocolate version is for those that want something a little milder. It uses spearmint, peppermint and wintergreen instead. I found that the spicy chocolate version totally did what it said it would and made my lips fuller and pinker!
Mermaid Hair Sea Salt Spray (100ml P195) A dreamy sea salt spray put together with toasted coconut oil, vanilla essential oil, sea salt, a bit of hair gel, and water. These ingredients give hair long lasting beach waves. This spray definitely helped my naturally wavy hair achieve more shine and body and it smelled amazing. Definitely a keeper.
