A few months ago, I had mentioned to a few people that I would be in Cebu for a family gathering and just a day before leaving I received an email from Shirly and Emily, the lovely owners of Bao Bao Babies inviting me to stop by their shop in Cebu while I was in town.
Pronounced as ‘pao pao’ (the store’s name means “precious” or “treasure” in the Mandarin language), Bao Bao Babies is a mom and baby shop that helps equip and clothe from pregnancy to toddlerhood.
Started in 2010 by both mamas. Shirly and Emily pride themselves in offering only items that they would use on their own children.
I honestly didn’t think I would have enough time to check their store out, but it just so happened that one of our events was in the same area so I stopped in for a peek. I’m so glad that I did. In my honest opinion, Bao Bao Babies is better stocked than any Manila store targeting the same market.
Their items are a healthy mix of local and foreign brand that make motherhood more fun and oftentimes absolutely adorable.
The store itself is so cute that just a few minutes to check out the both floors honestly wasn’t enough time.
They even have a nursing and changing area making sure that you and baby area comfortable during the whole shopping experience.
Many of their items are made from organic materials, environmentally friendly, and assured of the highest quality and standards.
