“A year today. A higher power was looking out for me when it gave me this one.” 

I posted these simple sentences on Facebook two days ago and am completely overwhelmed by the responses we’ve received from our friends and family.

I couldn’t have asked for anything more from a first year of marriage. It was a year of magical journeys, spiritual foundations, and lots and lots of laughter.

One of the things I am most grateful for is the incredible support we’ve been given from the people who mean the world to us. Loved ones who’ve known us all our lives have told us that this is the best they’ve ever seen us. We agree.

If I had to impart any relationship advice from our first year together it would probably be to laugh daily, give each other space, support every dream, and take an epic trip together — just the two of you.
