Mothers Who Brunch: Cook. Snap. Eat. Chat

I would have never thought that becoming a mom would be like receiving a visa to a number of amazing events and collaborations. But seriously, that’s what it feels like sometimes when I get invited to take part in activities that treat us like royalty for adding to the population.

Mothers Who Brunch is a collaboration of super moms Michelle Aventajado of Mom ‘N Manila and Sabrina Go of Sinfully Sabrina. The aim is to bring fellow moms together to “share, inspire, and feast”. This is the second time they have gotten mothers together to not just cook and eat, but also to learn from each other.

file-52The theme of this particular brunch was to teach their guests home-based food styling through the guidance of Hazel Dizon and Ezra Antonio: two food photographers well-respected in the Instagram community.

Here are some photos from our lovely afternoon together at the Viking Range Showroom in Alabang.  All photos by talented (and super fast) lensman, Jay Santos.

file-206Thank you, Mish and Sabrina for putting together such a thoughtful event. You two work so well together and have really outdone yourselves! Thank you as well to Mish’s husband Nino for treating us to the most delicious prime rib I’ve tasted in a while.

A big thank you to all the sponsors of Mothers Who Brunch who made this a very special morning for us:

Viking Range: The most beautiful working showroom and quality appliances.

Shorts Gourmet: Intricate sugar globes that encase the yummiest shortbread cookies with Belgian chocolate.

Glad Kitchen: The perfect cling wrap items for our kitchen needs

Lemons and Greens: Argentinean lemons and kale at prices that can’t be beat.

The Flour Girl: The most gorgeous cake, cookie shots, and other treats.

Fotogra PH: For a chance to turn some of our favorite memories into beautiful books.

Kate Adajar: For the dainty designs on all collaterals.

Jay Santos: For all the lovely pictures and this video from our morning together.
