Happy Monday

Processed with VSCOcam with f2 presetHappy Monday, everyone. This little guy is my littlest cub’s first pasalubong brought with love from Brazil by my dear friend Mari. Green for good health, blue for calming, and purple for protection.

I don’t think I’ve fully realised that in less than a month my little family of three is going to become four. Carl and I are definitely excited to begin this new chapter, but I’ll be the first to admit that we’re also a little apprehensive about going through the birthing process once more, as well as the first few months of sleepless nights, breastfeeding, and having a baby so tiny you’re almost worried that he or she will break. I’m honestly curious as to how it all goes the second time around.

I’ve always believed that it takes a tribe to raise a child and I am very blessed to have such a strong support system of people to call my team. I promise to write more about how I’m preparing in the coming weeks, especially when my maternity leave kicks in and I know that I’m going to be a tad restless.

Till then, I hope you enjoy this week’s pick of things from around the web:
