Happy Monday

BaguioI apologize for the late Happy Monday post. It’s been a rather busy last few weeks.

This photo was snapped during Labor Day weekend when my parents and I went up to Baguio, a place I hadn’t been to in years.

After the long drive up, my parents and Fin decided to have a nap, but I was restless. I plopped myself in a cafe, ordered a cinnamon tea, and just practiced my calligraphy. Something I really need quite a bit of practice to do well. For any of my readers who are calligraphy lovers, I appreciate any tips on the best nibs, ink, and paper that got you started.

Hope you enjoy my pick of links from around the web this week:

  1. Calligraphy! I took an afternoon course under Alessandra Lanot of Life After Breakfast (she creates crafts, and posts them in her blog). It’s probably good to consult with her. I have to practice myself.

    • Thank you, Blaise! I took Alessa’s class as well. She’s great. 🙂 I need someone to practice with too. Alessa should get all her former students together for practice sessions!
